AMAZON CUTTER

The Amazon Cutter, the flagship facility of Amazon Fishing Adventures, was placed into service in January of 2004. Built to the rigid specifications of Don Cutter at a shipyard in Manaus, the Amazon Cutter is basically a floating hotel that affords you unsurpassed comfort during your peacock bass adventure to Brazil. You no longer need to reside in a cramped room. Each bedroom on the Amazon Cutter has twin separate beds, extra storage spaces for luggage and a lockable compartment for your valuables. Each bedroom has a roomy, private bath, and the rooms have individually controlled air conditioning units.  At the end of your fishing day, a relaxing drink and nightly hors-doeuvres await your return to the Cutter. Next, take a relaxing, hot shower, and then you’ll want to gather on the upper level where you will find a large seating area, a game table, and a terrific panoramic view of the jungle as you listen to the soothing sound of the gently flowing river below.

Later, the spacious dining room will open for your dining pleasure. Buffet tables will be filled with an array of both American and Brazilian dishes to satisfy the appetites of the most discriminating anglers. When dinner is complete, you can again enjoy the large, comfortable gathering room to exchange stories about the day’s activities and the challenges awaiting you tomorrow. You will be delighted by the spaciousness of the entire facility. The bedrooms are on the lower level along with space for fishing equipment and an area to do repairs on your tackle after an explosive day of fishing for peacock bass. The Amazon Cutter is located on the Unini River, where the Rio Preto joins the upper Unini River to form the main Unini River. Located at the Amazon Fishing Adventures private airstrip, anglers can fish in any of the three different directions for peacock bass.
