AMAZON EXPLORER

This picturesque river offers anglers hundreds of miles of productive water with very limited fishing pressure. The Amazon Explorer is one of only two operations with exclusive permits to fish this river. The fishing pressure is relatively light and the prime fishing areas are rotated in order to preserve this splendid peacock bass fishery. Strictly a “catch and release” operation, the staff of the Explorer take great pains to assure that all of the hooked fish are released in good health to fight another day. 

 

Two anglers share a spacious cabin aboard the Explorer, offering ample bunk-style bedding, private bathroom and air conditioning. There is a dining room to enjoy delectable meals and a top deck observatory to observe the starlit Amazon sky and the gently flowing Unini River.
